Nippon TV Captures Annual Individual Ratings Triple Crown Title for 2022!
Thanks to your support, Nippon TV was able to capture the Annual Individual Viewer Ratings Triple Crown title for the 12th consecutive year in 2022 by emerging as the champion in the All Day, Prime Time, and Golden Time categories (January 3, 2022 – January 1, 2023, a comparison of commercial broadcasters only).

With COVID-19 restrictions gradually easing in 2022 as our society learned to live with the virus, we at Nippon TV carefully increased our newsgathering and location filming as we pushed to provide fast and accurate news and offer entertainment that is more captivating. We strove to win the public’s trust and be their first-choice, making the decision to hold “24-Hour Television” last August with spectators, the first time in three years, and bolstering our SDGs undertakings such as “Good for the Planet Week” and “Karada Week” (Health Week). As a result, we emerged as the Annual Individual Viewer Ratings Triple Crown champion for the 12th consecutive year starting from 2011—an experience we are thrilled about. The future calls for us to continue embracing new challenges to meet diversifying expectations, and we gladly step forward to create even better content that reaches more hearts.
