"24-Hour Television" immediately began collecting emergency donations from March 12th, the day after the earthquake. As of July 31, 2011, nationwide donations total 1,028,230,966 yen.

We thank everyone for their warm cooperation and generous donations.

A portion of the earthquake emergency fund of "24-Hour Television" was allocated to this third donation effort due to the extensive damage caused by the disasters. Of the 320 million yen collected for this third donation effort, 100 million yen each was donated to Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures, and 10 million yen to Aomori and Tochigi prefectures.

Donations have been made to the following prefectures: 350 million yen each to Iwate and Fukushima prefectures, 400 million yen to Miyagi prefecture, 20 million yen to Ibaraki prefecture and 10 million yen each to Aomori, Tochigi and Chiba prefectures.

No administrative costs are deducted from the collected funds and the entire amount will be donated to the disaster areas to mainly assist with the recovery and rebuilding process. We ask for your continued support.
