"3D Creative Arts Awards 2012" Special Jury Award
Production Title: Nittele G+ LIVE IN 3D "Giants vs Hiroshima"
(produced by the NTV Sports Division)
Broadcasting Date: Sunday, September 12, 2010
NTV was able to achieve its first 3D live broadcast of a Giants baseball game. We were successfully able to convey the merits of 3D video and value of baseball broadcasts through reality-creating camera work, camera configurations, varied CG telops providing a sense of depth, and specialized 3D play-by-play commentary.

The "3D Creative Arts Awards," created in 2010, screens 3D video content (movies, theatrical productions, events and broadcasts) from around the world and selects outstanding productions to receive awards. In previous years, 3D Hollywood movies such as AVATAR (2010) and TRON: Legacy (2011) won this prestigious award. This year, over 250 productions were nominated worldwide. The production won by NTV "Nittele G+ LIVE IN 3D: Giants vs Hiroshima" was highly evaluated for its "camera configurations and brilliant ability to convey a new, appealing aspect of baseball."

This award will serve to motivate NTV even further to continue creating contents that are watched and enjoyed by everyone.
